Ello Creation System

I LOVED this toy system growing up. I have vivid memories walking up the street to my friend’s house after dinner and on weekends and we’d play Ello for hours, constructing all kinds of apartments and living environments for these funky weird futuristic plastic creatures. There were multiple sets and they had these removable stickers that you could make eyes and windows and such with. It was based on a novel idea: girls can build things too! I was an architect, interior designer, urban planner, sociologist. I bring up Ello to old and new friends and no one else seems to have had it??!! God I miss it. Maybe I’ll have to buy myself a set on eBay…
